Airplane mode is the answer!

We are all aware that we should use this mode while flying, as it disables Bluetooth, GPS, Wi-Fi and other signal-transmitting technologies due to safety reasons. But even if you are on the ground, this mode can be extremely useful, especially for people who are constantly in a hurry. Did you know that airplane mode can actually extend your battery life, and if turned on while you are charging your phone it will reduce the charging time. By disabling signals such as Wi-Fi, airplane mode consequently disables all the background applications that are active as soon as the phone picks up a Wi-Fi signal. These background processes significantly slow down the charging process, thus, when your phone is in the airplane mode, it takes less time to charge. So, the next time you have just a little window of time to charge your phone, and you are in desperate need of it, head off to the settings, and enable airplane mode. You won’t be able to text or receive calls, but your phone will be ready for use much faster. Featured photo credit: https://unsplash.com/ via unsplash.com
